When it falls after the Sabbath, Beis Shammai say: We must immerse everything before the Sabbath. But Beis Hillel say; Utensils [must be immersed] before the Sabbath, but a person [may immerse himself] on the Sabbath.

They agree that we may make the waters contiguous [to the waters of a mikveh] in a stone utensil in order to cleanse them. But we should not immerse [the water in a wooden container]. We may immerse [utensils] from one purpose to another and from one group to another.
