וְעוֹד אָמַר רַבִּי יְהוּדָה בֶּן בָּבָא: הַגִּנָּה וְהַקַּרְפֵּף שֶׁהֵן שִׁבְעִים אַמָּה וְשִׁירַיִם עַל שִׁבְעִים אַמָּה וְשִׁירַיִם מֻקֶּפֶת גָּדֵר גָּבוֹהַּ עֲשָׂרָה טְפָחִים — מְטַלְטְלִין בְּתוֹכָהּ, וּבִלְבַד שֶׁיְּהֵא בָהּ שׁוֹמֵרָה, אוֹ בֵית דִּירָה, אוֹ שֶׁתְּהֵא סְמוּכָה לָעִיר.
רַבִּי יְהוּדָה אוֹמֵר: אֲפִלּוּ אֵין בָּהּ אֶלָּא בוֹר וְשִׁיחַ וּמְעָרָה, מְטַלְטְלִין בְּתוֹכָהּ.
רַבִּי עֲקִיבָא אוֹמֵר: אֲפִלּוּ אֵין בָּהּ אַחַת מִכָּל אֵלּוּ, מְטַלְטְלִין בְּתוֹכָהּ, וּבִלְבַד שֶׁיְּהֵא בָהּ שִׁבְעִים אַמָּה וְשִׁירַיִם עַל שִׁבְעִים אַמָּה וְשִׁירַיִם.
רַבִּי אֱלִיעֶזֶר אוֹמֵר: אִם הָיָה אָרְכָּהּ יָתֵר עַל רָחְבָּהּ אֲפִלּוּ אַמָּה אַחַת, אֵין מְטַלְטְלִין בְּתוֹכָהּ. רַבִּי יוֹסֵי אוֹמֵר: אֲפִלּוּ אָרְכָּהּ פִּי שְׁנַיִם בְּרָחְבָּהּ, מְטַלְטְלִין בְּתוֹכָהּ.
Additionally, R’ Yehudah ben Bava said: A garden or a karpeif that is seventy cubits and a fraction by seventy cubits and a fraction and is enclosed by a fence ten fists high — we may carry within it, provided it contains a watchman’s hut, or a dwelling, or it is near a city.
R’ Yehudah says: Even if it contains only a cistern, a ditch or a cave, we may carry in it.
R’ Akiva says: Even if it contains none of these, one may carry within it, pro-vided that its area is seventy cubits and a fraction by seventy cubits and a fraction.
R’ Eliezer says: If its length exceeds its width by even one cubit, we may not carry in it.
R’ Yose says: Even if its length is double its width we may carry in it.

אָמַר רַבִּי אִלְעַאי: ,,שָׁמַעְתִּי מֵרַבִּי אֱלִיעֶזֶר: ,וַאֲפִלּוּ הִיא כְבֵית כּוֹר.‘ וְכֵן שָׁמַעְתִּי מִמֶּנּוּ: ,אַנְשֵׁי חָצֵר שֶׁשָּׁכַח אֶחָד מֵהֶן וְלֹא עֵרַב —
בֵּיתוֹ אָסוּר מִלְּהַכְנִיס וּמִלְּהוֹצִיא לוֹ, אֲבָל לָהֶם מֻתָּר.‘ וְכֵן שָׁמַעְתִּי מִמֶּנּוּ שֶׁיּוֹצְאִין בְּעַקְרַבְנִין בְּפֶּסַח. וְחִזַּרְתִּי עַל כָּל תַּלְמִידָיו וּבִקַּשְׁתִּי לִי חָבֵר, וְלֹא מָצָאתִי.“
Said R’ Ilai: ‘‘I have heard from R’ Eliezer: ‘Even if it is as a beis-kor.’ And I also heard from him: ‘If one of the residents of a courtyard forgot and did not participate in the eruv —
his house is forbidden to him with regard to bringing into it and taking out of it, but is permitted to them.’ And I also heard from him that one fulfills his obligation on Pesach with akravnin. But I made the rounds of all his students and sought corroboration, yet I did not find.’’
