Kilaim4: 3
R’ Yehudah says: This is none other than the wall of a vineyard. But what is the perimeter of a vineyard? Between two vineyards. What is a wall? [That] which is ten handbreadths high. And a ditch [is that] which is ten deep and four wide.
Kilaim4: 4
A partition of sticks — if there are not three handbreadths between one stick and the next, enough room for a goat to enter, then this is a partition. A wall that has been broken — up to ten cubits, this is like an opening; more than this, it is forbidden [to plant] opposite the breach. [If] many breaches have been made in it — if the standing [part] is greater than the breached, it is permitted. But if the breached [part] is greater than the standing [part], opposite the breach it is forbidden.
