שְׁלשָׁה טְמֵאִין בַּמֵּת — שְׁנַיִם טְמֵאִין טֻמְאַת שִׁבְעָה, וְאֶחָד טָמֵא טֻמְאַת עָרֶב.

Two can become tamei from a corpse — one becomes tamei for seven days, and one becomes tamei until evening.
Three can become tamei from a corpse — two [of them] become tamei for seven days, and one becomes tamei until evening.
Four can become tamei from a corpse — three [of them] become tamei for seven days, and one becomes tamei until evening.
How [do] two [become tamei]? A person who touches a corpse becomes tamei for seven days, and a person who touches him becomes tamei until evening.

A small [glass] bottle whose neck was broken off is tamei. But a large [bottle] whose neck was broken off is tahor. [A bottle] for balsam oil whose neck has broken off is tahor, because it [will] scratch [one’s] hand.
Large [glass] jars whose mouths broke off are tamei, because one sets them aside for pickled things.
A grinding funnel [made] of glass is tahor.
R’ Yose says: Fortunate are you, Keilim! For you have entered in tumah, but have exited in taharah!
