Chagigah Perek 1
Chagiga1: 1
All are obligated in re'iyah except for a deaf person, an imbecile, a minor, a person of undetermined sex, a hermaphrodite, women, slaves who have not been freed, the lame, the blind, the infirm, the aged, and one who is unable to ascend by foot.  Who is deemed a minor? Whoever cannot ride on his father's shoulders and ascend from Jerusalem to the Temple Mount —- [these are] the words of Beis Shammai.  Beis Hillel say: Whoever cannot hold his father's hand and ascend from Jerusalem to the Temple Mount, for the verse states: three pilgrimages (Exodus 23:14).
Chagiga1: 2
Beis Shammai say: The [olas] re'iyah [must be worth at least] two silver [maos], and the [shalmei] chagigah [at least] one silver maah.  Beis Hillel say: The [olas] re'iyah [must be worth at least] one silver maah, and the [shalmei] chagigah [at least] two silver maos.
Chagiga1: 3
Olos [which are not obligatory] may be brought during [Chol] HaMoed. [All olos may be brought only] from unconsecrated funds, while shelamim [may be purchased] with tithe money.  [Concerning the chagigah brought on] the first day of Pesach, Beis Shammai say: [It may be purchased only] with unconsecrated money. Beis Hillel say: [It may be purchased] with tithe money.
Chagiga1: 4
Yisraelim discharge their obligation with vow-offerings, gift-offerings, or the animal tithe; and Kohanim [fulfill their obligation] with sin-offerings, guilt-offerings, firstborn [of animals], and the breast and thigh [of shelamim], but not with fowl[-offerings] nor with meal-offerings.
Chagiga1: 5
One who has many that eat but few possessions should bring many shelamim and few olos. [One who has] many possessions but few that eat should bring many olos and few shelamim. If both [possessions and eaters] are few —- concerning this it is said: “One silver maah and two silver [maos].” If both [possessions and eaters] are many —- concerning this it is said: Every man according to his hand's giving, according to the blessing Hashem, your God, has given you.
Chagiga1: 6
One who did not offer the chagigah on the first Yom Tov of the festival, may offer the chagigah throughout the festival or on the last Yom Tov of the festival.  If the festival passed and he did not offer the chagigah, it is no longer his responsibility. Concerning this it is said: A twisted thing cannot be made straight, and what is not there cannot be numbered.
Chagiga1: 7
R' Shimon ben Menasya says: What is [referred to as] a twisted thing cannot be made straight? One who has an illicit relation-ship and begets a mamzer. Were you to say that [the reference is to] one who steals or robs [this could not be the meaning since] he can make restitution and [thus] make it straight.  R' Shimon ben Yochai says: We do not call one twisted unless he was initially straight and then became twisted. And who is this? This is a scholar who forsakes the Torah.
Chagiga1: 8
[The regulations governing] release from vows hover in the air and have no [firm Scriptural] support. [Certain] laws of the Sabbath, chagigah, and me'ilah are like mountains suspended by a hair, for there are few Scriptural references and many laws. [The regulations governing] property law, the [sacrificial] services, purity and contamination, and illicit relationships have [firm Scriptural] support. All of these are essentials of the Torah.
