An ‘‘arkuvah’’ key that broke at its bend is tahor. R’ Yehudah rules [it] tamei, because one can unlock [the door] with it from the inside. And a ‘‘gamma’’ key that broke at [the bend of] its gamma is tahor. If it had teeth and holes, it is tamei. [If the] teeth were removed, it is tamei on account of [the] holes. [If the] holes were sealed, it is tamei on account of [the] teeth. [If the] teeth were removed and [the] holes were sealed, or they broke into each other, it is tahor. A mustard strainer in which three [of its] holes at the bottom broke into one another is tahor. And a grinding funnel of metal is tamei.
