A sword, a knife, a dagger, a spear, a hand sickle, a reaping sickle, a trimming scissors, and the scissors of barbers that were separated, they are tamei. R’ Yose says: The [part] closer to the handle is tamei, but the [part] closer to the tip is tahor. [Regarding] shears that were separated into two [parts]: R’ Yehudah rules [them] tamei, but the Sages rule [them] tahor.
