[ה] רַחַת שֶׁל גָּרוֹסוֹת — טְמֵאָה. שֶׁל אוֹצָרוֹת — טְהוֹרָה. שֶׁל גִּתּוֹת — טְמֵאָה. שֶׁל גְּרָנוֹת — טְהוֹרָה. זֶה הַכְּלָל: הֶעָשׂוּי לְקַבָּלָה — טָמֵא. לְכִנּוּס — טָהוֹר.
The shovel of bean grinders is tamei. But [the shovel] used in storehouses is tahor. [The shovel] of a wine press is tamei. But [that] of the threshing floor is tahor. This is the general rule: [Utensils that are] designed to hold [something] are tamei, [but those designed] for gathering are tahor.
