הָיָה מֻטָּל עַל הָאִסְקֻפָּה וְהֶאֱהִילוּ עָלָיו קוֹבְרֵי הַמֵּת, בֵּית שַׁמַּאי אוֹמְרִים: אֵינוֹ מֵבִיא אֶת הַטֻּמְאָה; וּבֵית הִלֵּל אוֹמְרִים: מֵבִיא אֶת הַטֻּמְאָה.

[If the person] is lying on the threshold while corpse bearers pass over him, Beis Shammai say: He does not spread tumah; whereas Beis Hillel say: He spreads tumah.
