Bava Metzia3: 10
הַמַּפְקִיד מָעוֹת אֵצֶל חֲבֵרוֹ, צְרָרָן וְהִפְשִׁילָן לַאֲחוֹרָיו, אוֹ שֶׁמְּסָרָן לִבְנוֹ וּלְבִתּוֹ הַקְּטַנִּים, וְנָעַל בִּפְנֵיהֶם שֶׁלֹּא כָרָאוּי — חַיָּב, שֶׁלֹּא שָׁמַר כְּדֶרֶךְ הַשּׁוֹמְרִים. וְאִם שָׁמַר כְּדֶרֶךְ הַשּׁוֹמְרִים — פָּטוּר.
[If] one deposits money with another [and] he tied it up and slung it behind him, or gave it over to his minor son or daughter, and locked [the door] before them inadequately, he is liable, since he did not watch as shomrim do. But if he watched as shomrim do, he is exempt.
