תַּבְלִין, שְׁנַיִם וּשְׁלֹשָׁה שֵׁמוֹת מִמִּין אֶחָד, אוֹ מִשְּׁלֹשָׁה — אָסוּר וּמִצְטָרְפִין. רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן אוֹמֵר: שְׁנַיִם וּשְׁלֹשָׁה שֵׁמוֹת מִמִּין אֶחָד, אוֹ שְׁנֵי מִינִין מִשֵּׁם אֶחָד — אֵינָן מִצְטָרְפִין.

Seasonings of two or three names of one type, or of three, are forbidden and com-bine. R' Shimon says: Two or three names of one type or two types of one name do not combine.

שְׂאֹר שֶׁל חֻלִּין וְשֶׁל תְּרוּמָה שֶׁנָּפְלוּ לְתוֹךְ עִסָּה, לֹא בָזֶה כְּדֵי לְחַמֵּץ וְלֹא בָזֶה כְּדֵי לְחַמֵּץ, נִצְטָרְפוּ וְחִמְּצוּ — רַבִּי אֱלִיעֶזֶר אוֹמֵר: אַחַר הָאַחֲרוֹן אֲנִי בָא; וַחֲכָמִים אוֹמְרִים: בֵּין שֶׁנָּפַל אִסּוּר בַּתְּחִלָּה, בֵּין בַּסּוֹף, לְעֹלָם אֵינוֹ אוֹסֵר עַד שֶׁיְּהֵא בוֹ כְּדֵי לְחַמֵּץ.

Sourdough of chullin and of terumah that fell into a dough, [and] there was not in this one sufficient to leaven and there was not in this one sufficient to leaven, [but] they combined and leavened, R' Eliezer says: “We follow the last one.” But the Sages say: Whether the prohibition fell in the beginning or at the end, it never forbids until in it there is sufficient to leaven.
