לָקַח בְּכוֹר לְמִשְׁתֵּה בְנוֹ אוֹ לָרֶגֶל, וְלֹֹא צָרִיךְ לוֹ, מוּתָּר לְמָכְרוֹ.
צָדֵי חַיָּה, עוֹפוֹת, וְדָגִים, שֶׁנִּזְדַּמְּנוּ לָהֶם מִינֵי טְמֵאִין מוּתָּרִים לְמָכְרָן. רַבִּי יְהוּדָה אוֹמֵר: אַף מִי שֶׁנִּתְמַנָּה לוֹ לְפִי דַרְכּוֹ לוֹקֵחַ וּמוֹכֵר, וּבִלְבַד שֶׁלֹּא תְהֵא אוּמָּנוּתוֹ בְכָךְ. וַחֲכָמִים אוֹסְרִין.
[If] he bought a first-born animal for his son’s [wedding] feast or for the festival, and he did not need it, he is permitted to sell it.
Trappers of wild animals, fowl, or fish, who chanced upon unkosher species are permitted to sell them. R’ Yehudah says: Even someone to whom such [an animal] happened to come his way may take it and sell it, provided that he does not make a specialty of this. But the Sages forbid it.
Shevi'is7: 5
לוּלְבֵי זְרָדִים וְהֶחָרוּבִין יֵשׁ לָהֶם שְׁבִיעִית וְלִדְמֵיהֶן שְׁבִיעִית; יֵשׁ לָהֶן בִּיעוּר וְלִדְמֵיהֶן בִּיעוּר.
לוּלְבֵי הָאֵלָה, וְהַבָּטְנָה, וְהָאֲטָדִין, יֵשׁ לָהֶם שְׁבִיעִית, וְלִדְמֵיהֶן שְׁבִיעִית; אֵין לָהֶם בִּיעוּר וְלֹֹא לִדְמֵיהֶן בִּיעוּר. אֲבָל לֶעָלִין יֵשׁ בִּיעוּר, מִפְּנֵי שֶׁנּוֹשְׁרִין מֵאֲבִיהֶן.
Shoots of the service tree and the carob tree possess seventh [-year sanctity] and money [exchanged] for them possesses seventh [-year sanctity]; they are subject to biur and money [exchanged] for them is subject to biur.
Shoots of the terebinth, pistachio, and thorn, possess seventh [-year sanctity] and money [exchanged] for them possesses seventh [-year sanctity]; [but] they are not subject to biur, nor is money [exchanged] for them subject to biur. But the leaves are subject to biur, because they fall from their branches.
