כּ֢ר֢ם שׁ֢חָרַב β€” אִם י֡שׁ Χ‘ΦΌΧ•ΦΉ לְלַקּ֡ט Χ’ΦΆΧ©Χ‚ΦΆΧ¨ גְּ׀ָנִים ΧœΦ°Χ‘Φ΅Χ™Χͺ בְאָה Χ•ΦΌΧ Φ°Χ˜Χ•ΦΌΧ’Χ•ΦΉΧͺ Χ›ΦΌΦ°Χ”Φ΄ΧœΦ°Χ›ΦΈΧͺָן, Χ”Φ²Χ¨Φ΅Χ™ Χ–ΦΆΧ” נִקְרָא כּ֢ר֢ם Χ“ΦΌΦ·Χœ. כּ֢ר֢ם שׁ֢הוּא Χ ΦΈΧ˜Χ•ΦΌΧ’Φ· גִרְבּוּבְיָא β€” אִם י֡שׁ Χ‘ΦΌΧ•ΦΉ ΧœΦ°Χ›Φ·Χ•ΦΌΦ΅ΧŸ שְׁΧͺַּיִם Χ ΦΆΧ’ΦΆΧ“ שָׁלֹשׁ, Χ”Φ²Χ¨Φ΅Χ™ Χ–ΦΆΧ” כּ֢ר֢ם; וְאִם ΧœΦΈΧΧ•, א֡ינוֹ כּ֢ר֢ם. Χ¨Φ·Χ‘ΦΌΦ΄Χ™ ΧžΦ΅ΧΦ΄Χ™Χ¨ ΧΧ•ΦΉΧžΦ΅Χ¨: Χ”Χ•ΦΉΧΦ΄Χ™Χœ וְהוּא נִרְא֢ה Χ›ΦΌΦ°ΧͺΦ·Χ‘Φ°Χ Φ΄Χ™Χͺ Χ”Φ·Χ›ΦΌΦ°Χ¨ΦΈΧžΦ΄Χ™Χ, Χ”Φ²Χ¨Φ΅Χ™ Χ–ΦΆΧ” כּ֢ר֢ם.
[If] a vineyard was destroyed β€” if there are [still] to be found in it ten vines per beis se’ah and they are planted in the correct configuration, this is called a β€˜β€˜poor vineyard.’’ [If] a vineyard was planted chaotically β€” if it is possible to align two opposite three, then this is a vineyard; if not, it is not a vineyard. R’ Meir says: Since it resembles the structure of vineyards, it is a vineyard.
