ֹא כָתַב לָהּ כְּתֻבָּה — בְּתוּלָה גּוֹבָה מָאתַיִם, וְאַלְמָנָה מָנֶה, מִפְּנֵי שֶׁהוּא תְנַאי בֵּית דִּין. כָּתַב לָהּ שָׂדֶה שָׁוָה מָנֶה תַּחַת מָאתַיִם זוּז, וְלֹא כָתַב לָהּ: ,,כָּל נִכְסִים דְּאִית לִי אַחֲרָאִין לִכְתֻבָּתִיךְ” — חַיָּב, שֶׁהוּא תְנַאי בֵּית דִּין.
[If] he did not write a kesubah for her, a virgin collects two hundred [zuz], and a widow one hundred, because it is a condition established by the court. [If] he assigned to her in writing a field worth a hundred in lieu of the two hundred zuz, and he did not write to her: “All properties that I own are surety for your kesubah,” he is [nevertheless] liable, since it is a condition established by the court.
