Kesuvos1: 8
[If] they saw [a woman] talking with someone in the street, [and] they said to her: “What is the nature of this [man]?” [and she replied: “He is] so-and-so, and he is a Kohen” —- Rabban Gamliel and R’ Eliezer say: She is believed. R’ Yehoshua, however, says: She is not believed. Rather, it is presumed that she had been intimate with a Nesinite or with a mamzer, until she proves her claim.
