[If] someone maintains thistles in a vineyard, R’ Eliezer says: This condemns. But the Sages say: Nothing condemns except something the likes of which is maintained. The iris, and the kissom, and the shoshanas hamelech and all [similar] varieties of plants are not kilayim in the vineyard. Hemp — R’ Tarfon says: It is not kilayim. But the Sages say: It is kilayim. Globe artichoke is kilayim in the vineyard.
