מָזְגוּ לוֹ אֶת הַכּוֹס — אוֹמֵר: ,,מַה שֶּׁאֲנִי עָתִיד לְשַׁיֵּר בְּשׁוּלֵי הַכּוֹס — הֲרֵי הוּא מַעֲשֵׂר, וּשְׁאָר מַעֲשֵׂר סָמוּךְ לוֹ. זֶה שֶׁעָשִׂיתִי מַעֲשֵׂר — עָשׂוּי תְּרוּמַת מַעֲשֵׂר עָלָיו; וּמַעֲשֵׂר שֵׁנִי בְּפִיו, וּמְחֻלָּל עַל הַמָּעוֹת.“
[When] they pour him a cup, he says: ‘‘What I will leave at the bottom of the cup, let it be maaser [rishon], and the rest of the maaser [rishon] is next to it. That [portion] that I have made maaser [rishon] is made into terumas maaser for it; and maaser sheni [is] in its mouth, and is deconsecrated on the coins.’’
