[ג] הַמַּטִּיל טִפִּין עָבוֹת מִתּוֹךְ הָאַמָּה, טָמֵא; דִּבְרֵי רַבִּי אֶלְעָזָר חִסְמָא. הַמְהַרְהֵר בַּלַּיְלָה וְעָמַד וּמָצָא בְשָׂרוֹ חַם, טָמֵא.
הַפּוֹלֶטֶת זֶרַע בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי, טְהוֹרָה; דִּבְרֵי רַבִּי אֶלְעָזָר בֶּן עֲזַרְיָה. רַבִּי יִשְׁמָעֵאל אוֹמֵר: פְּעָמִים שֶׁהֵן אַרְבַּע עוֹנוֹת, פְּעָמִים שֶׁהֵן חָמֵשׁ, פְּעָמִים שֶׁהֵן שֵׁשׁ. רַבִּי עֲקִיבָא אוֹמֵר: לְעוֹלָם חָמֵשׁ.
3. [If] one discharged thick drops from the member, he is tamei; [these are] the words of R’ Elazar Chisma. [If] one had [bad] thoughts at night and arose and found his flesh warm, he is tamei.
A woman who emits semen on the third day is tahor; [these are] the words of R’ Elazar ben Azaryah.
R’ Yishmael says: Sometimes it is four periods, sometimes five, [and] sometimes six. R’ Akiva says: It is always five [periods].

[ד] נָכְרִית שֶׁפָּלְטָה שִׁכְבַת זֶרַע מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל, טְמֵאָה. בַּת יִשְׂרָאֵל שֶׁפָּלְטָה שִׁכְבַת זֶרַע מִנָּכְרִי, טְהוֹרָה.
הָאִשָּׁה שֶׁשִּׁמְּשָׁה בֵּיתָהּ וְיָרְדָה וְטָבְלָה, וְלֹא כִבְּדָה אֶת הַבַּיִת, כְּאִלּוּ לֹא טָבְלָה.
בַּעַל קֶרִי שֶׁטָּבַל וְלֹא הִטִּיל אֶת הַמַּיִם כְּשֶׁיַּטִּיל אֶת הַמַּיִם טָמֵא. רַבִּי יוֹסֵי אוֹמֵר: בַּחוֹלֶה וּבַזָּקֵן, טָמֵא; בַּיֶּלֶד וּבַבָּרִיא, טָהוֹר.
4. [If] a Gentile woman emitted the semen of a Jew, it is tamei. [If] a Jewish daughter emitted the semen of a Gentile, it is tahor.
[If] a woman had intercourse and she went down and immersed herself, but had not cleaned out her house, it is as if she did not immerse herself.
A baal keri who immersed himself and did not pass water becomes tamei when he does pass water. R’ Yose says: In [the case of] a sick man or an old man, he becomes tamei; [but] in [the case of] a young and healthy person, he is tahor.
Mikvaos8: 5
[ה] נִדָּה שֶׁנָּתְנָה מָעוֹת בְּפִיהָ, וְיָרְדָה וְטָבְלָה, טְהוֹרָה מִטֻּמְאָתָהּ, אֲבָל טְמֵאָה הִיא עַל גַּב רֻקָּה.
נָתְנָה שְׂעָרָהּ בְּפִיהָ, קָפְצָה יָדָהּ, קָרְצָה שִׂפְתוֹתֶיהָ, כְּאִלּוּ לֹא טָבְלָה.
הָאוֹחֵז בָּאָדָם וּבַכֵּלִים וּמַטְבִּילָן, טְמֵאִין; וְאִם הֵדִיחַ אֶת יָדוֹ בְּמַיִם, טְהוֹרִים. רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן אוֹמֵר: יְרַפֶּה כְּדֵי שֶׁיָּבוֹא בָהֶם מַיִם.
בֵּית הַסְּתָרִים, בֵּית הַקְּמָטִים, אֵינָן צְרִיכִין שֶׁיָּבוֹאוּ בָהֶן מַיִם.
5. [If] a niddah put money into her mouth, and she went down and immersed herself, she is purified of her tumah, but she is [still] tamei on account of her saliva.
[If] she put her hair in her mouth, [or] she clenched her hand, [or] she pressed her lips together, it is as if she did not immerse herself.
[If] one holds a person or utensils and immerses them, [they] remain tamei; but if he rinsed his hands in water, they become tahor. R’ Shimon says: He may loosen [his hold] so that the water should enter in between.
Concealed areas [and] folded areas do not require that the water should enter into them.
Mikvaos9: 1
[א] אֵלּוּ חוֹצְצִין בְּאָדָם: חוּטֵי צֶמֶר, וְחוּטֵי פִשְׁתָּן, וְהָרְצוּעוֹת שֶׁבְּרָאשֵׁי הַבָּנוֹת. רַבִּי יְהוּדָה אוֹמֵר: שֶׁל צֶמֶר וְשֶׁל שֵׂעָר אֵינָם חוֹצְצִין, מִפְּנֵי שֶׁהַמַּיִם בָּאִין בָּהֶם.
1. The following [items] intervene in the case of a person: woolen threads, linen threads, and the ribbons on girls’ heads. R’ Yehudah says: [Those] of wool and of hair do not intervene, because the water passes between them.
