הַחֵרֶם — טָמֵא מִפְּנֵי הַזּוּטוֹ. הָרְשָׁתוֹת, וְהַמִּכְמָרוֹת, וְהַמַּדָּף, וְהַפַּלְצוּר, וּמְצוֹדוֹת הַסַּכָּרִין — טְמֵאִין. וְהָאֲקוּן, וְהָרְטוֹב, וְהַכְּלוּב — טְהוֹרִין.
A fishing net is tamei on account of the bottom. Nets, traps, a bird snare, a wooden snare, and fishermen’s traps are tamei. A fish trap, a bird trap, and a bird cage are tahor.

שְׁלֹשָׁה תְרִיסִין הֵם: תְּרִיס הַכָּפוּף — טָמֵא מִדְרָס. וְשֶׁמְּשַׂחֲקִין בּוֹ בַּקֻּנְפוֹן — טָמֵא טְמֵא מֵת. וְדִיצַת הָעַרְבִיִּין — טְהוֹרָה מִכְּלוּם.
There are three shields: A bent shield [is susceptible to becoming] tamei with midras [tumah]. [A shield] with which [combatants] play on the sporting grounds [is susceptible to becoming] tamei with corpse-tumah. And the play-shield of Arabs is tahor from any [form of tumah].

שָׁלֹשׁ עֲגָלוֹת הֵן: הָעֲשׂוּיָה כְּקַתֶּדְרָא — טְמֵאָה מִדְרָס. כְּמִטָּה — טְמֵאָה טְמֵא מֵת. וְשֶׁל אֲבָנִים — טְהוֹרָה מִכְּלוּם.
There are three wagons: [A wagon] made like a katedra [is susceptible to becoming] tamei with midras [tumah]. [A wagon made] like a bed [is susceptible to becoming] tamei with corpse-tumah. And [a wagon made for the transportation] of stones is tahor from any [form of tumah].

שָׁלֹשׁ עֲרֵבוֹת הֵן: עֲרֵבָה מִשְּׁנֵי לֹג וְעַד תִּשְׁעָה קַבִּין שֶׁנִּסְדְּקָה — טְמֵאָה מִדְרָס. שְׁלֵמָה — טְמֵאָה טְמֵא מֵת. וְהַבָּאָה בַּמִּדָּה — טְהוֹרָה מִכְּלוּם.
There are three troughs: A trough [with a capacity of] between two logs and nine kavs that developed a crack [is susceptible to becoming] tamei with midras [tumah]. An intact [trough is susceptible to becoming] tamei with corpse-tumah. And [a trough] of great proportions is tahor from any [form of tumah].
